Biography of Chi T. Mathias
Chi T. Mathias is more than a phenomenal vocalist, she is an entrepreneur who has served as an innovator of community-based initiatives that inspire and improve the quality of life inside and out for more than a decade.
Chi is the founder of The Inside Out Company™, its mission and vision is to educate and motivate youth to realize that they have purpose and destiny on the inside of them. Chi accomplishes this through inspirational seminars and workshops where she facilitates innovative edutainment sessions. Her most popular workshop is Empowered to Prosper, which promotes solution oriented thinking and leads workshop participants to an empowered life, despite outside influences. Feeling Good about Being a Girl is the second most requested workshop, which educates girls on the importance of optimum health, hygiene, beauty and maintaining healthy lifestyles from the inside out, both spiritually and naturally. The Inside Out Company™ has collaborated and partnered with organizations such as, SistaKeeper Empowerment Center, The Girls Scouts of Greater St. Louis, and the Omicron Theta Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s Cultured Pearls to accomplish its mission.
Ms. Mathias also has a naque for community organizing, project management and developing creative marketing strategies and campaigns. In 2009, she launched Mathias & Associates, a full service PR & Marketing Firm that strategic planning, project management, event planning, marketing and promotions. Mathias & Associates accomplishes this by, developing innovative marketing campaigns, and implementing strategic project management strategies.
Chi balances all of her professional ambitions with her passion for music, as a professional musician, vocalist, songwriter, vocal coach, and music teacher. She is the founder of The Music Institute, a private music school, Inspired Soul Music International, an independent record label and production company, through which she produced her first album “Devine Transformation: His Grace My Testimony,” and Food for the Soul Publishing, which holds all of the publishing rights to her original songs, journals and books. Chi’s mission through music is much like the mission of her other entrepreneurial efforts; to inspire, educate and empower.
Chi attributes her success and endurance to the hardships she has had to face and speaks publicly about them, as a domestic violence survivor and motivational speaker. Her message is simple, “Your past does not dictate your future. You can be empowered to overcome. Music is the core of my being and it has empowered me to never give up despite the hardships I have had to face.” Chi has committed her life to empowering others to live, love and laugh whenever possible. When asked, “where do you find the time to do it all?” Chi is also the mother of two daughters, she reply’s “prayer, the Word of God, exercise, rest, support from friends and family, and great organizational skills. The Word of God says that if you seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, which means a right relationship with Him, everything you need, ask for or even think will be given to you, and so far for me it has and I am grateful.”
